Kintsugi Health & Wellness
– Present (1 year 7 months) Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing something broken with the use of gold lacquer. Something broken is forever changed, but need not be discarded. Break. Remake. Redefine.
Kintsugi H&W is individualized personal training which takes a well-rounded approach to both fitness and life goals. My goal is to address every possible facet to improve your overall well-being. The fractured fitness industry tends to focus on end results and to sell you the product in front of the mirror. At Kintsugi H&W, it is not only about the results, the purpose lies in the process itself.
Steven leads classes as well as writing lesson plans from beginner level to competitive black belt level. He teaches classes for a variety of people from 7 to 65 years of age. Additionally, he instructs a pre-skills program for 5 and 6 year old children. As a Kinesiology student, he actively applies concepts he learned in university to provide superior conditioning to my students. Classes typically have a focal point on fundamental technique.
